Markham South International Welcome Centre

Our long term client, the York Region District School Board, challenged us to assist them in planning, designing and furnishing their new initiative – a welcome centre for new immigrants to Canada. This facility is used to test the educational level of school aged children who are new to Canada. The facility needed to be inviting, functional, durable, and flexible as their program needs change with time. Combining freestanding tables and furniture with systems furniture for staff, we were able to create a bright vibrant space on a very limited budget. We and our client are thrilled with the results.
